The linux teaching lab is a dedicated resource for the Computer Science Department at the University of Maryland. Accounts are given out each semester to students taking classes being taught with the resources.
The remote login servers for the lab are in a DNS Round-Robin called linuxlab.csic.umd.edu. These can be accessed via SSH from anywhere.
